As the winter chill sets in, it’s vitally important that precautions are taken to protect your VASA container cleaning equipment against freezing temperatures.
Protecting your VASA machine against frost damage is easy:
1. Shut off the water supply to your machine.
2. Drain any buffer or feeder tanks which feed the machine.
3. Drain the machine’s pump, pipework and cleaning heads by accessing ‘Maintenance Mode’ on the control panel and following the instructions in your operations manual.
4. Ensure that the control panel isolator switch is ‘ON’ overnight to allow the pump anti-frost protection heater to do its job.
